Time flies and soon, we were only left with a week before heading home. Another than the jittery feeling of going home, the approaching deadline of the performance of the cultural night also made us all feeling anxious and excited. After so many rehearsals and practice, we are going to show case to the locals and our own students our performance. All dressed up nicely and headed to the lecture theatre to prepare our performance. The showcase of the local students made the crowd go wild and before I knew it, I was cheering along with them. When it was our turn, I was super anxious but was very glad that the performance ended nicely and everyone got to have fun together. The night ended with all the exciting activities prepared by the locals. There was singing, dancing and skit, a mix of all performances by different people. It made me very “high” ,but at the same time it also reminded me the fact that we are heading home. Five weeks passed just like this and soon we all have to leave. Very soon we will have to say good-bye to this new area and headed back to our school life. Mixed emotions flooded through me. The excitement of heading home and the thought of leaving is like on the balancing scale with one side overpowering the other. Still all good things must come to an end, if so why not enjoy till it really reached the end?
