Bam!

With the knock on my head, I woke up instantly and this is the start of a brand new day! First morning at Wuhan and we are extremely excited about the day ahead. We gathered at the dorm stairs after washing up and we were led by the teachers to our classrooms and buildings. There we get to see the setting of the whole school and watched the students as they rushed to class. It is also impressive to see the buses and cars that zoomed by. Everything seems so vibrant and full of life. The gush of cold wind also reminded us that we are at Wuhan and not Singapore. This make me miss home a little as Singapore is so warm.

After a tour around the school, we were led by the students from the Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST) to eat our lunch at Greenery Restaurant. The food is delicious and the ambience enhances the taste of the food. Right after the food, we went to get our SIM card so that we can receive call from our parents. Next we were led to Wal-Mart to get our necessities. We finally experience the driving of the local taxi drivers as we stepped into the taxi. Not only is it travelling at a fast speed, it also cuts through a lot of the tracks. We were thankful and in awe when we arrived at the shopping centre. It was a fun and exciting experience for us as we looked for what we need. This makes us appreciate our parents as we weighed our options and choices, choosing for things that were often done by them. Kettles, slippers, food, hangers and cups were some of the many things we bought. With dinner eaten in a place that looks like a food court, we ended our trip and returned back to our dorms. With a fruitful trip, we were able to fall asleep easily.

Well, this concludes yet another day. Can’t wait for the next day to come! :)
